Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 October 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CoachScript (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CoachScript is an AI-powered tool that helps retail managers generate Situation–Behaviour–Impact (SBI) feedback scripts. The Service uses artificial intelligence to produce suggested conversation scripts based on the information you provide.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Scripts generated by CoachScript are suggestions only. They are produced by an AI model and should be reviewed, adapted, and used at your own discretion. CoachScript does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated content for any particular situation.
You are solely responsible for how you use any generated scripts in conversations with your team members. We strongly recommend reviewing and personalising all scripts before use.
4. User Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
You agree to notify your administrator immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
5. Licences, Pricing & Access
Access to CoachScript requires a valid licence code. Licence codes are single-use and are permanently linked to the first account that uses them; they are non-transferable and cannot be shared or reused.
Licences are time-limited and run from the day you sign up. Current licence lengths and prices are: £25 for 30 days, £55 for 90 days, and £175 for one year (365 days). Indefinite (no-expiry) licences may be issued at our discretion.
When a licence code expires, access to the Service ends until the licence is renewed. Licence codes do not renew automatically, and licence fees are non-refundable once a code has been issued or used. Licence codes may be paid for directly with us or you may instead choose a card subscription (see section 6). Prices may change from time to time, but any change will not affect a licence you have already paid for.
6. Card Subscriptions & Automatic Renewal
As an alternative to a licence code, you may subscribe to CoachScript and pay by card. When you subscribe, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis for the plan you select. Available billing cycles are monthly (£25), quarterly — every three months (£55), and annual (£175).
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price for your plan, and your payment method will be charged for each renewal, until you cancel. By subscribing you consent to these recurring charges.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page in your account, which opens our secure payment provider’s customer portal. When you cancel, your subscription will not renew again and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a billing cycle unless required by law.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, your subscription may be marked as past due and access may be suspended or ended if payment is not successfully collected after our payment provider’s retry attempts.
Free trials. We may offer a free trial on a subscription plan. To start a free trial you must provide valid card details. You will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and your card will be charged the standard price for the plan you chose, and it will then renew automatically as described above. You can cancel at any time during the trial from the Billing page in your account and you will not be charged. Only one free trial is available per customer or account unless we state otherwise.
Account creation. When you subscribe by card, we create an account for you automatically using the email address provided at checkout and email you a secure link to set your password.
Payment processing. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of card payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices, and will give reasonable notice of any change before it takes effect for your next renewal. If you do not wish to accept a new price, you may cancel before it applies.
7. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Because CoachScript is bought online by consumers, you normally have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract and to receive a refund.
Digital content and services that start immediately. CoachScript is a digital service that is made available to you as soon as your account is active. If you ask us to begin providing the Service during the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) the Service is being supplied immediately; and (b) once the Service has been fully performed you will lose your right to cancel, and to the extent you have used the Service during the cancellation period you may be charged for what you have used. If you have not started using the Service, you may still cancel within 14 days for a refund of the current period.
How to cancel. To exercise your right to cancel, or to cancel an ongoing subscription, use the Billing page in your account (which opens our payment provider’s secure customer portal) or get in touch with us. You do not have to give a reason.
Your statutory rights are not affected. Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law, including in respect of services that are not carried out with reasonable care and skill.
8. Promotional Offers & Discounts
From time to time we may run promotional offers or issue discount codes that reduce the price of a licence or subscription plan for a limited time. Where an offer applies, the discounted price and any end date will be shown at the point of sale.
- Offers are available only for the period stated and may be changed or withdrawn at any time before you complete a purchase.
- Unless we state otherwise, a discount applies only to the payment(s) described at checkout and does not carry over to later renewals, which are charged at the standard price for your plan.
- Offers cannot be combined with each other unless we say so, and may be limited to one per customer or account.
- Offers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Input any personal data about third parties that is not necessary for the feedback context.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to generate content that is discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
10. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using CoachScript, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it, in line with UK data protection law. To make such a request, use our contact page or email us at [email protected]. Further detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
The CoachScript name, logo, and interface are the property of their respective owners. Scripts you generate belong to you, though the underlying AI model and Service remain our property.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoachScript and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to outcomes of conversations conducted using generated scripts.
13. Service Availability
We aim to keep CoachScript available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us or email [email protected].
