Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, and to help site owners understand how their site is used. This policy explains which cookies CoachScript uses and the choices available to you. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Essential cookies (always on)

These cookies are strictly necessary for CoachScript to function and cannot be switched off. They do not require your consent because the service would not work without them. They include:

  • Authentication & session: to sign you in securely and keep you signed in as you move between pages.
  • Security: to help protect your account and prevent misuse.
  • Cookie preference: to remember whether you accepted analytics cookies, so we do not ask you every time you visit.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are most popular — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.

These analytics cookies are only loaded if you choose “Accept analytics” in our cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Managing your choices

When you first visit CoachScript, our cookie banner lets you choose between “Accept analytics” and “Essential only”. You can change your mind at any time:

  • Clear your browser's site data for CoachScript, which will make the cookie banner appear again so you can choose afresh.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the service.

Third-party processing

Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes analytics data in accordance with its own policies. Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment provider, which may set its own cookies during the secure checkout process to prevent fraud and complete your payment. These are necessary for payments to work.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
