Introduction

CoachScript (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a tool that helps retail managers generate structured feedback scripts using the SBI (Situation, Behaviour, Impact) model. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using CoachScript, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored securely in encrypted form).
  • Scenario inputs: the situations, behaviours and impacts you enter to generate scripts.
  • Generated scripts: the feedback scripts produced and any you choose to save.
  • Usage information: basic activity such as when scripts are created, used for your history and administration.

How We Use Your Information

  • To generate feedback scripts based on the scenarios you provide.
  • To save and display your script history so you can revisit past scripts.
  • To allow your organisation’s administrator to review scripts and inputs created within the workspace.
  • To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

Administrator Access

CoachScript is designed for team use. If you use an account within an organisation's workspace, please be aware that your organisation's administrator can view the scenarios you enter and the scripts you generate. This is intended to support coaching and consistency across the team. Where you hold your own individual subscription, only you and the CoachScript operator (for support and account administration) can access your scripts.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely and passwords are hashed. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

AI Processing

Feedback scripts are generated using AI. The scenario details you submit are processed to produce your script. Please avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information about individuals; focus on observable situations, behaviours and impacts as intended by the SBI model.

Licence Enquiries

If you submit an enquiry through our pricing page, we collect the name, email address, organisation (if provided) and any message you send us. We use these details solely to respond to your licence request and to arrange access. When an enquiry is submitted, a notification is emailed to our administrator, and the enquiry is stored so we can follow it up. We do not use this information for marketing, and we do not share it with third parties.

Payment Processing

When you subscribe to a paid plan by card, your payment is processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. Your full card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never seen by or stored on our servers. We retain a record of your subscription (plan, status, renewal date) and a payment history (amount, date and a Stripe reference) so that we can manage your access, provide receipts and support your account. Stripe processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.

Free trials. If you start a free trial, we ask you to add a valid payment card before the trial begins. Your card details are collected and stored directly by Stripe and are never seen by or stored on our servers. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically continues on a recurring basis and your card is charged for the plan you selected. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends through the billing portal to avoid being charged.

Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie preference. These are always active because the site cannot function properly without them.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are most popular) so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. These analytics cookies are only loaded if you choose “Accept analytics” in our cookie banner — if you choose “Essential only”, no analytics cookies are set. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not sell your data. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for CoachScript, which will show the cookie banner again. For full details of the cookies we use, please see our Cookie Policy.

You can delete any saved script from your history at any time.
